Dreaming about things multiplying
What does it mean to dream something keeps increasing?
More commonly the counting is not attempted at all and the quantity is simply unstable.
A crowd nobody could enumerate, insects that keep multiplying, weeds in ground already cleared, seats that do not match the people at a table.
Nothing is counting, so nothing constrains the total, and each return of attention produces more. That is why multiplication turns up across this database in animals, objects, tasks and rooms alike, and why it is always reported as increase rather than decrease.
The direction is worth noting. Dreams multiply and do not divide, which is a real asymmetry and one this file has no explanation for.
