This is an evidence-led archive, not a monster encyclopaedia. A figure qualifies only when several independent reports describe a meaningful cluster of the same characteristics, and every page separates what people report from what might explain it. Nothing here claims that a shared description proves a shared entity.

A figure belongs here only where several independent people report a meaningful cluster of the same characteristics, with a demonstrable connection to dreams or sleep experiences. Being frightening is not a qualification, and neither is appearing in a history book.
Most of what is here is better explained by sleep paralysis, hypnagogic imagery or internet exposure than by anything shared and external. The archive says so on each page. That is the interesting part, not a disclaimer bolted on.
