Dreaming about sunlight without seeing the sun
Why is there light in my dream but no sun?
Sunlight is reported far more than the sun. Dreamers describe warmth and light on a scene and rarely mention a source.
That is generation-on-demand in its purest form. A lit scene needs light; it does not need the thing producing the light, because nobody was looking at the sky. So the light exists and the sun does not.
The same economy runs through the whole database. A room has walls where somebody looks and none where they do not. A crowd is a texture until an individual is attended to. A bag has weight without contents.
Once you notice it, the absence of a source stops being strange and becomes the expected case.
Where this reads well
One of the clearest single demonstrations of how dreams allocate detail, and easy to check.
Where it is harder
None.
Worth asking yourself
Was there a sun? Did I look for it? Where did I think the light came from?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
