What does it mean to dream about time running out?
Where clocks carry meaning in dreams it is almost always about lateness, and this is the concentrated form: a deadline visible, approaching, and unreachable.
Dreamed time does not behave consistently. Intervals stretch and compress, and dreamers often describe a clock jumping forward far more than could have passed. That instability is what the dream is using rather than a comment on the dreamer's life.
Worth logging with the being-late and exam material rather than as its own thing. It follows the same waking conditions and tends to appear alongside them.
