Dreaming about exposed roots
What does it mean to dream roots have been uncovered?
A second group, reported with unease, and dreamers usually locate it precisely: something that should be covered is not.
Lifted by wind, by erosion, by a fallen tree. The reports carry no threat and considerable discomfort.
That is the same structure as the bare branches, the drained pool and the shadow that is missing, arriving from the opposite direction. Those are absences where something is expected; this is a presence where something should be hidden.
Both produce unease with no event, which suggests what the dream is trading on is the violation itself rather than which way round it runs.
