Dreaming that somebody else is pregnant
What does it mean to dream your friend or partner is pregnant?
Reported commonly, and it is not information about that person.
That needs saying plainly, because it is what people arrive wanting to know and because acting on it is awkward at best. There is no mechanism by which a dream could carry news about somebody else's body, and the dreams occur about people who are not, cannot be, and never become pregnant.
The reports usually turn on the dreamer's own position rather than the other person's: whether they were pleased, excluded, surprised, or already knew in the dream. The unearned certainty is the giveaway. Dreamers arrive already knowing, exactly as the infidelity and death reports do, with nothing establishing it.
Where somebody is genuinely trying to conceive, or somebody close to them is, these track that closely and the waking situation is the subject.
Where this reads well
Knowing not to mention it is the practical value, and dreamers are usually relieved to be told.
Where it is harder
Dreamers occasionally raise it with the person, which lands badly and is entirely avoidable.

How did I know? How did I feel about it? Is anybody I know actually trying?
