Snakes and being chased
Two of the most reported dreams there are, and the combination is more informative than either alone: both are dreams about the moment before something happens, and neither reports the something.
What the combination adds
Taken separately these look like different dreams. Put together they are obviously the same one.
The chase reports say the distance never closes. That holds whether the dreamer is pursued or pursuing, which is what rules out fear as the cause and points at the sleeping body instead.
The snake reports say the strike rarely lands. Dreamers describe proximity, attention and the certainty that it is about to happen, and very few describe being bitten.
So a dream with both in it is anticipation twice over, with nothing arriving from either direction. That is not a coincidence of two symbols. It is one of the clearest demonstrations in this database that dreams sustain the state before an event far better than they produce the event.
What it is not is a warning about a specific person or threat. Neither page supports that and the combination does not create it.

- Being chased
Being chased is the most reported dream theme in most surveys. What matters is almost never the pursuer. It is that the dreamer is going away from something, and what happens if they stop.
