What the combination adds
Dreamers report their mother at the age she was, in the house as it was, and report the dream raising no objection to either.
That pairing is not a coincidence and it is not about the relationship. The sibling reports show the same thing more sharply: a brother who is eight, in a house sold twenty years ago, with the dreamer at their current age. A person and their setting arrive as one package.
What that suggests is worth more than any reading of either. Dreams do not appear to hold people as people and settings as settings, to be combined freely. They reuse a period whole.
