What does it mean to dream nobody told you about a test?
The sharpest version, and it belongs with the examination material as much as with this record.
The structure is the one this database returns to constantly: judgement is complete and the criteria were never supplied. The arrest with no charge, the boss telling you off about nothing nameable, the trial with no stated offence.
What graduation adds is retrospect. The failure is not now; it is years ago and has been true the whole time without the dreamer knowing.
That backwards application is the same device the place-that-changes-identity uses, where a new fact is applied over everything that came before.
Where this reads well
Reading it beside the arrest and boss reports makes the missing-criteria pattern obvious.
Where it is harder
Retrospective failure is worse than present failure, and dreamers say so.

Was I told? Did I ask? How far back did the failure supposedly go?
