Why did I notice the colour in my dream?
Flowers are among the few dream images where colour is reliably noticed, which is genuinely unusual.
Most dream reports do not mention colour at all. Flower reports frequently do, unprompted, and dreamers can usually say which colour afterwards.
That is worth flagging rather than interpreting. This database is deliberately sceptical about colour: the colour records exist and the variation test finds that a darker purple is not a different dream. But whether colour is noticed is a different question from whether it means anything, and flowers are where it happens.
