Dreaming about a drawer that will not shut
What does it mean to dream you cannot close something?
A second and quite frustrating version, usually because of what is in it.
It is the suitcase that will not close at smaller scale, and the same structure: effort applied physically, an obstruction that will not resolve, and no completion.
Both belong with the fine-motor failures, where the body is switched off and precise action returns nothing, and with the unresolving-task family.
Dreamers describe rearranging the contents repeatedly, which is the never-the-same-twice mechanism producing a different arrangement each time rather than progress.
Where this reads well
A small clean instance of two families overlapping, and dreamers recognise the rearranging detail.
Where it is harder
Small and maddening, and dreamers report waking irritated.
Worth asking yourself
What was stopping it? Did I rearrange it? Did it ever close?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
