What does it mean if a dream warning turns out to be right?

A warning that matches something real is only informative if the dreamer was not already aware of the concern. Almost every such report involves a subject the dreamer had reason to think about: a relative already unwell, a decision already worrying them, a risk already known.
Coincidence also needs counting. Warnings that matched nothing are not reported, are not remembered, and never enter a collection, which makes any archive of this material systematically misleading unless it says so.
