Dreaming about swimming easily
What does it mean to dream you can swim effortlessly?
Ease is the characteristic feature, and dreamers frequently mention that they swim better than they can.
That puts swimming in a very small group. Almost every physical action in this database under-performs: legs will not run, hands will not grip, the voice makes no sound. Swimming over-performs, and the only other clear case is jumping.
What those two share is buoyancy: neither requires the ground, and the ground is where the motor failures happen.
That is a genuine pattern and it is worth testing. If the movement failures are about a body expecting resistance it never receives, then movement that does not expect resistance should be exempt, and these two records suggest it is.
Where this reads well
A real and testable observation that sharpens the whole motor-failure account.
Where it is harder
None.
Worth asking yourself
Was it easier than it should be? Was I touching the ground? How does it compare to running in a dream?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
