Dreaming about snail
Snails are reported rarely and for two things only: slowness, and the shell. Slugs are reported quite differently despite the similarity, which is the same butterfly-and-moth lesson in another family.

Slugs produce revulsion where snails do not, and dreamers consistently attribute the difference to the absence of a shell, which is worth recording as an observation.

The snail-and-slug divergence is a smaller version of the butterfly-and-moth one and makes the same point: dreamers respond to a feature, in this case the shell, rather than to a creature.
That is a useful corrective to species-based dream dictionaries, and it is easier to see in these paired entries than anywhere else.
The disproportionate guilt at causing harm to something small recurs across the egg, rabbit and deer entries and is a genuine pattern in the reports.
