Dreamers often describe them as pleasant and unmemorable, which is a rare combination and worth setting down as it stands: not every dream is doing something, and a database that only kept the eventful ones would give a badly distorted picture of a night's sleep.
Sheep are reported as a mass rather than as animals. Individuals are almost never described, in the same way the party reports contain a group nobody can name afterwards, and for the same reason: the individuals were never generated.
Counting sheep is invoked as a joke often enough to note, and the folk association is strong enough that some report it as the content of the dream.
