What does it mean to dream about a large ape?
Reported separately in tone, and worth separating here: larger primates produce reports closer to the bear material, with size and standoff rather than mischief.
The animal is present, enormous, and undecided. Dreamers report stillness on both sides and frequently report not running.
So this record contains two quite different dreams that a dictionary would file together on the strength of the species being related. The monkey reports are about resemblance; the ape reports are about scale.
