Frog

Dreaming about touching a frog

Why could I feel the texture in my dream?

Texture is mentioned more here than for almost any other animal, and dreamers describe it with some discomfort.

That is an anomaly worth flagging. Physical sensation is generated poorly in dreams: pain is close to absent, temperature unreliable, smell rare. Two records in this file break that, and they are this one and the elephant, which have nothing else in common.

Why those two is not something this database can answer. Recording the sensation carefully when it happens is worth more than a reading of it.

Numbers appear in a substantial minority of reports and belong with the infestation material rather than here.

Where this reads well

A genuine outlier in a well-established pattern, and an ordinary journal can add to it.

Where it is harder

The discomfort is real and dreamers report it persisting briefly on waking.

Worth asking yourself

Could I actually feel it? How would I describe it? Have I felt anything else in a dream?

Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
