Dreaming about being surrounded by a herd
What does it mean to dream animals close in around you?
A distinct minority of herd reports, and dreamers are precise about the feeling: pressure rather than fear.
Nothing is threatening them. The animals are calm. There are simply too many of them and they are too close, and the dreamer cannot move freely.
That is the crowd material with cattle in it. The pushing-through-a-crowd scenario describes the same experience with people: nobody obstructs deliberately, and progress becomes impossible anyway.
Recording which of the two words fits, pressure or fear, is the useful thing here, because they point at different families and dreamers can usually tell.
Where this reads well
A clean cross-species instance of the crowd structure, which strengthens it as a finding.
Where it is harder
Being unable to move for benign reasons is oddly harder to shake than a threat.

Was I frightened, or just pressed? Could I move at all? Were they calm?
