Dreaming about accepting something impossible without question
Why do impossible things seem normal in dreams?
The single most characteristic feature of dreaming, and the reason this record exists: dreams suspend critical judgement. A house has a room that cannot be there, a dead relative is present, the dreamer is somewhere they have never been and knows it intimately, and none of it prompts an objection.
That suspension is not a fault in the dreamer's reasoning. It is a property of the state, and it lifts on waking, which is why the strangeness arrives all at once afterwards.
This is also the doorway to lucidity. Noticing an inconsistency inside the dream, rather than after it, is what every reality-check technique is trying to train. The lucid section covers how.
Where this reads well
Genuinely actionable. Dreamers who learn to notice the acceptance itself are the ones who become lucid.
Where it is harder
None. This is how dreaming works rather than something going wrong.
Worth asking yourself
What did I accept? What would it have taken to notice? Do I notice more often than I used to?
Dream interpretation is subjective. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prediction, or medical advice.
